The 2018-2021 Strategic Plan is the result of five months of consultative stakeholder engagement sessions. Embracing a complexity before simplicity approach, the process saw participation from more than 200 individuals including students, staff, parents, alumni, board members, and community members.
The 2018-2021 Strategic Plan officially launched at Calgary Academy.
The draft Strategic Plan was unveiled to all participants in a milestone celebration.
Recognizing the community’s concern that everything couldn’t change at once, our goals and outcomes were finalized, and strategies were developed and prioritized.
Together, we streamlined more than 15 priorities into four initial goals and 12 outcomes.
Students were asked “what makes my school special” and “what does learning look like at my best?” With student responses prominently displayed to keep their voices at the table, we reviewed our purpose, including vision, mission, and beliefs.
