Brittani Slocombe

Brittani has worked with youth in education and community programming for more than eight years and found her passion for working with children as a summer camp leader, nanny, and out of school club director. Originally from High River, Alberta, she pursued her post-secondary studies in Secondary Education at McGill University, before returning to Alberta in 2018 to begin working in early childhood education and the School Age Care sector. She grew up traveling overseas and changing schools frequently, so she knows first-hand the value of small classroom sizes, mentorship, and inclusive community, and feels very connected to the culture at CA. In her free time, Brittani enjoys baking, reading, and running with her cocker spaniel.  In her new role with the Admissions Department, she looks forward to connecting with families and welcoming students to the wonderful learning community that is Calgary Academy.
