Blended+ Highlights
Flexibility and Personalization for Diverse Learners
Students learn in ways that reflect their goals, schedules, and circumstances. The program supports a wide range of learners—including neurodiverse students, athletes, frequent travellers, students balancing work or health needs, and those who benefit from more personalized pacing.
High Quality Instruction, Anywhere
Students join live, interactive lessons throughout the week—whether they’re at home, on campus, or learning from another location with internet access. Teachers offer clear instruction, guided practice, and regular check-ins to keep students confident and on track, with lesson recordings available when additional review or flexibility is needed.
Real World Learning That Builds Community
From fieldwork at the University of Calgary’s Biogeoscience Institute to attending a Question Period at the Canadian House of Commons, students learn in environments that deepen understanding and spark curiosity. The annual overnight trip (included in tuition) strengthens friendships, creates cross-grade connections, and ties into the curriculum.
Backed by 40+ Years of Calgary Academy Success
Families benefit from the same care, experience, and guidance CA has offered since 1981—delivered through a modern, adaptable format.
Full Access to School Life
Blended+ students enjoy full access to CA’s vibrant community, including athletics, clubs, Integrated Studies options, and school events.
Increasing Independence, Supported Every Step of the Way
Blended+ grows with students. Grades 9-10 include more structured guidance and planning support, and by Grades 11–12, students take on more independence with teachers checking in consistently. This intentional progression prepares them to confidently navigate post-secondary pathways.
Advanced Digital Fluency
Daily use of collaborative tools, digital organization systems, and modern learning technologies fosters strong digital habits that support future academic and career success.
