Learning resources and assignments are released weekly with tasks due at the end of the week. Students can accelerate learning within the week and be done early, or they can stretch it out for the full week.
Live (synchronous) classes and breakout sessions occur at scheduled times while asynchronous instruction provides flexibility in a highly supported environment.
Weekly in-person learning time as a class is leveraged to make the most of time together in highly engaging projects and activities. This time will also be used for Physical Education, Integrated Studies, and secured exams.
Experiential, off-site experiences are a cornerstone of the Blended+ program. From the Biogeoscience Institute and the Calgary Zoo, to Canada Olympic Park, students regularly engage in real-world experiences in the local and broader community.
