Hello CA Parent Volunteers! On behalf of the School Council of Calgary Academy (SCOCA) we are thrilled to have many of you back volunteering with us again this year and also welcome many new parents joining this year for the first time.

Calgary Academy and the School Council of Calgary Academy (SCOCA) appreciates the gift of time and service of all its volunteers.

The final School Council of Calgary Academy (SCOCA) meeting will occur on Monday, May 13 at 7 p.m.  This is the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the SCOCA executive is excited to review the progress made in their first year and to look ahead at the goals for next year. 

Happy January Parents! We hope everyone has settled in for the next half of the year after our Christmas Break.

It’s been a busy and productive last few months for our parent volunteers. Together we have supported Calgary Academy in a variety of ways including: the annual Terry Fox Run, Dig Pink event, Book Fair, Photo Day, Bulletin Boards, Drama Department Costume Closet, and scribing.

Many thanks to all those who attended the November SCOCA meeting. It was packed with interesting presentations and activities.

SCOCA (School Council of Calgary Academy) has been busy this last month with a variety of meetings and fun activities. Our second School Council meeting was held on October 15.

Volunteer recruitment for the new School Council of Calgary Academy (SCOCA) kicked off at our first meeting Sept 17. With over 25 parent volunteers already signed up, we are off to a great start!
