The holidays are a time of connection between family, friends, and everyone in between. People are looking forward to warm meals, but many Calgarians experience pressure during December, balancing their holiday budget and daily necessities. 

At Calgary Academy, the REACH principles guide our beliefs and actions. One of these principles is altruism, the selfless concern for others. This December, CA wants to encourage altruism in the greater Calgary community, spotlighting local organizations making a difference. 

International Travel Studies (ITS) trips are a highlight of the Calgary Academy experience, as many students choose to travel across the globe, including past visits to Ecuador, Morocco, Nepal and Vietnam.

Over spring break this year, three groups of Calgary Academy students and teachers traveled around the world to make an international impact. Calgary Academy prepares students for the future with the skills they need to succeed after graduating. QUEST, the Elementary Student Council offers elementary students the opportunity to develop leadership skills through experiential learning.

Due to the beautiful weather this past season, the Garden produced a large harvest that we are excited to share with the greater community.
