How to Complete Required Student Information Update Forms

To ensure we have the most current information for your student, all Calgary Academy families are required to complete the following forms assigned to you through SchoolEngage, accessible from your Parent PowerSchool Portal:

2026-2027 *REQUIRED* Demographic Update Form

Completing Your Forms

  1. Sign in to PowerSchool and click on SchoolEngage.

  2. Select your child’s name(s) on the left-hand side of the page
  3. Complete and submit BOTH forms noted as “*REQUIRED*.” SchoolEngage Form Instructions

For students with complex medical conditions, new fields are provided and aligned with provincial expectations on documenting and preparing with emergency response plans.

Important Change to Document Submission

To protect the privacy and security of student information, all student documentation and updates must be submitted through SchoolEngage on the Parent PowerSchool Portal.

SchoolEngage provides a secure platform for the collection and storage of confidential student records. As part of this process change, documentation will no longer be accepted if provided directly to teachers or the front office via email or paper copies.

Please submit all forms and supporting documents directly through SchoolEngage to ensure timely processing and secure handling of your information.

Learning Profile Updates

If your student has new documentation related to their Learning Profile, including:

  • Psychoeducational Assessments
  • Medical Assessments
  • Diagnoses or other supporting documentation

Please complete the Student Learning Profile and Documentation Update Form and upload the supporting document.

Please note: Password-protected files cannot be accepted.

Custody Updates

If there have been changes to your student’s custody arrangements, please complete the Custody Update Form and upload any applicable court documentation.

All submitted documents must be complete, signed, and current.
