Application Process FAQs
What is the difference in applying early (fall/winter) versus applying late (spring/summer)?
As applications and enrolment are both timely processes for families that include a substantial amount of forms to be completed, we suggest applying early to avoid any rush/delays. This also includes a delay in processing payments/refunds. Our response times later in the year may take longer than usual. There is also a possibility that your child may be put on a waitlist should classes reach capacity. Please note that applications submitted over the summer break may result in your child’s start date being delayed. For those applying in August/September, please be aware that we still need to adhere to the admissions process and we need time to prepare for their first day of school.
Do you accept students mid-year?
We do consider mid-year placement should the information in the application indicate that your child’s needs would be a match for our already existing groupings, and considering space is available in that grade. With any applications submitted mid-year, we must adhere to the same admissions process as we do with all other applicants. Please note that additional fees may apply if enrolled after Sept. 30 and tuition will be prorated. Please see the Fees & Payments page for more details on mid-year enrolment.
