Beginning in February 2022, students worked through a collaborative art project centred on the theme of legacy. Local artist Carl White turned their inspiration into a permanent mural at Calgary Academy which was unveiled at the Anniversary Weekend in May.
May 14, 2022 We had over 300 people join us at our 40th Anniversary Reunion! From a petting zoo, food trucks, and bouncy castles, to an amazing barbecue made possible by our staff, plus lots of friendly competitions for fun prizes, it was a day we won’t soon forget. We were excited to also unveil our Achieve, Legacy Mural, and art created by our talented students. Thank you to all our families, alumni, and staff who shared this incredible day with us.
September 24, 2022 The Gala is the pinnacle event of our 40 Years celebration, with a formal program highlighting the 40 years of history. This interactive evening will take place at Calgary Academy and will be a licensed event. Stations throughout the school will encourage attendees to mingle, explore historical artifacts, and view plans for CA's future.
May 13, 2022 As part of our 40th Celebrations, the Legacy Event took place on May 13 and it sure was a night to remember! It was incredible to see so many familiar faces that shaped the first 15 years of CA's history. From former staff, alumni and their families, thank you for coming out and sharing in this evening with us.
September 27, 2021 Kicking off a year of celebrations, the Golf Tournament was an action-packed day of competition and connection! Members of the CA community competed for bragging rights and helped raise money to support the purchase of a new bus and the CAPA bursary fund.
